Message to activate the wastgates before the throttles just because if you do it at the balance tube it may be possible to introduce a source of vacuum leak into the manifold from the solenoids. This probably isn't possible but I don't know about all the different solenoids used on boost controllers.

If you take the source for wastegate actuation at the compressor discharge instead of after the intercooler restriction, the solenoids have to modulate higher pressure air. I think they can regulate/hold the air easier if it is at a little lower pressure; from after the intercoolers. Others may say that the increased pressure may make the wastgate actuation a thousandth of a second faster. It's all probably splitting hairs, and why the instructions don't even show the intercoolers in their drawing. Thanks for listening to my fixation on this issue. :)
